Greetings.  This blog will document some of the experiences of the 5 member 2015 Medical/Dental team to LaCeiba, Honduras.  We are assisting at an already established clinic and school facility that we have been in relationship with since at least 2010 called Total Health.

We began our 9 day adventure early Saturday morning at 0245 meeting at NHC.  At nearly 10 below zero it was reported to be the coldest Valentine day in 70 years.  Thanks to Pastor Dave R. for giving up some sleep to come warm up the bus and getting us to the airport in plenty of time.

We had a completely non-eventful experience boarding in Mpls. and considered that a huge blessing from the many supplications and intercessions that have been provided for us all.  We did arrive early in Atlanta and found out that American Airlines travel for two others who were added to our group was delayed due to por weight distribution of luggage.  Fortunately that was not a long delay and we all arrived well in our northern Honduran drop off point, and again got through customs with no difficulties.  Getting off the plane in San Pedro Sula and immediately breathing in the humid and warm air of the tropical country we had come to visit was a welcome change.  However, having just left below zero weather and arriving to nearly 80 degrees, the 90 degree change was a bit stifling.  Jeff reported developing instant allergy symptoms and no Zyrtec in sight.
